Squid Dissection

This is a labelled picture of the squid we dissected in class last week. One thing I found interesting about the squid dissection was when we removed the gills and placed them in a little glass bowl filled with water when we placed them in they looked liked feathers. Which was quiet fascinating. When cut open on the inside we took out the ink sac and the pen and when we were done the dissection we wrote with the ink from , the ink sac using the pen .. as a pen. This was one dissection I enjoyed it wasn't very pleasant or appealing to look at but it was fun.
